In the session the tutor assesses your child’s current level and teaches a real topic rather than giving a sales pitch, then sends you a short written summary with a recommended learning plan.

After the trial you receive a written recommendation covering the tutor, the study plan and the weekly schedule. If you would like to continue, confirm by email or WhatsApp, choose your tutor tier (Standard, Expert or Premium) and your study plan (2, 6 or 10 months), and we set up your recurring timetable. Lessons usually begin within 48 hours of confirmation.

Every student starts with a diagnostic in the trial lesson that identifies the specific topics and question types where they lose marks. The 2-month Intensive Plan is exam-focused revision: 50 one-to-one sessions, 16 Cambridge past papers and 4 timed mock exams, designed for students who already know the content and need to convert it into marks. The 6-month Complete Plan covers the full syllabus — 75 sessions across 37 chapters and 9 syllabus units, 8 timed mocks and two revision checkpoints — and suits students who need to build understanding as well as exam technique.

All TutorWick tutors hold a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject and are selected for demonstrated experience teaching the Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson Edexcel GCSE and Cambridge O-Level Mathematics syllabuses, which are the programmes we currently offer. TutorWick teaches directly against your child's exam board specification: Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics, Pearson Edexcel GCSE Mathematics and Cambridge O-Level Mathematics. Lessons follow that board's official syllabus units and assessment objectives, and use its own past papers and mark schemes rather than generic worksheets.

Yes — enrolment is open all year and there is no fixed intake date. Your study plan is built backwards from your child’s exam session, so a student joining in October follows a different sequence from one joining in February. Lessons take place in TutorWick’s online classroom, tutors are verified before they teach, and parents are welcome to sit in on or review any session.
